Terms of sale
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms on which we supply any of the products (the “Products”) listed on our website www.marion-may.com (the “Website”) to you. Please read carefully and understand these terms before ordering any Products from the Website (“Terms of Sale”). By placing an order for any of our Products, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these Terms of Sale in their entirety, you will not be able to order any Products. If you have difficulty in understanding any of the terms in the Terms of Sale or have any other queries, please contact us at email@example.com, we will be happy to assist.
1 – Ordering
To place your order, please select the goods and size if appropriate; add the quantity and select ‘Add to Basket’. This will automatically update your Basket located on the top right of the website. When you click on your Basket, it shows you the items you’ve ordered so far. You have the option to edit the quantities listed, delete goods, continue shopping, update your basket or proceed to checkout. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices that appear on the Website are accurate, occasionally errors may occur. If we discover an error we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of amending your order or cancelling for a full or part refund.
2 – Payment
The price of any product, and the currency which the price of any product is payable in, will be as quoted on the Website at the time of your order, except in cases of manifest error. Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a dispatch confirmation. If you choose to pay for an item using a payment card with a currency denominated account which is not the currency quoted on the Website, the account will still be taken in the currency which is quoted on the Website and will be taken at the conversion rate applied by the relevant payment scheme at the time of processing your order. These prices include VAT or any other taxes (if applicable) but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due as set out in the Delivery section at paragraph 7 above. Marion May uses a WooCommerce payment system, which gives you the opportunity to pay via Paypal.
3 – Promotional Codes / Coupons
Marion May may offer promotional discount codes to individuals or groups of people from time to time. Each code will have its own specific terms, for example when it is valid from and until, and what discount or offer it provides you. However, general terms for the use of voucher codes are: They are not valid for use in conjunction with any other offer or discount promotion, and cannot be used to purchase online gift vouchers. Voucher codes may not be passed to a third party. Marion May reserves the right to withdraw or alter any promotion at any time without prior notice. To use a discount code, simply enter it in the COUPON box provided at the checkout.

4 – Delivery
We offer several different delivery options for all countries worldwide (exceptions can occur). As standard, each ensemble of your order will be delivered in its matching pouch, ideal for organising your lingerie and traveling. We can also add on request a bespoke label with your embroidered initials at no additional cost, perfect for a personalised gift.

Rest of World Couriered Delivery: 2-5 working days: 15.00€
If a product is unavailable (out of stock) or we anticipate any delay in the dispatch of the products or fulfilment of the delivery, we will contact you to agree a later delivery date. For bespoke orders, we will require from 4 to 6 weeks in order to fulfill the order and dispatch it to you. All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. This signature will be deemed as proof of receipt by you and accordingly we will be accepted by us as evidence of delivery and fulfilment of the order. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation any delays with customs clearances). The quantity of any consignment of products as recorded by us upon dispatch from our place of business shall be conclusive evidence of the quantity received by you on delivery unless you can provide conclusive evidence proving the contrary. If you order Products via the Website for delivery outside Europe, they may be subject to import duties, taxes, fees or other levies when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties, taxes, fees or levies. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be responsible for your compliance with, and will have no liable to you or other any person for any breach by you or any other person, of any such laws or regulations. 5 – Returns and exchanges If you are not completely satisfied with any of the items in your purchase we will happily offer you an exchange or refund provided the items are unworn and in perfect condition, and that you contact us within 7 working days after the day on which you receive the product(s). For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on corsetry or hosiery. We cannot accept return of goods that have been worn. We will NOT accept marked or soiled goods. To request an exchange or return, you must inform us in writing of your intention by hand delivery, post or by email to email@example.com. Please clearly fill in the returns form printed that was included in your parcel, completing all necessary fields and ensure this is enclosed in your return package.

We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit, therefore we strongly recommend that you send them by registered post and retain proof of posting. Please allow 2-3 working days for your package to reach us (longer if outside of the UK) and 7-14 working days upon our receipt of your package for your exchange or refund to be processed. Refunds will be issued via bank transfer . For outside the UK, the bank admin costs for the transfer will be deduced from the refund. We do not issue refunds to a third party . We do not refund postage, unless we delivered the product(s) to you in error or the item is faulty . We do not refund goods damaged during washing . This does not affect your statutory rights. 6 – Update information If you wish to update your account information simply log in which will take you to ‘My Account’. Here you can edit your Account Information including contact details, newsletter subscription and your address book. The ability to manage your shipping addresses is a new feature to the site, and means you can easily ship to a range of addresses which will be stored to your account.
Marion May (at the address below) is the data controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act). You have the right to access the information which Marion May holds about you and your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. If you wish to verify the details you have submitted to Marion May you may do so by contacting us via firstname.lastname@example.org or the address below. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof of identity will take the form of your e-mail address and password submitted upon registration. You must therefore keep this information safe as you will be responsible for any action which we take in response to a request from someone using your e-mail and password. We would strongly recommend that you do not use the browser’s password memory function as that would permit other people using your terminal to access your personal information.
